Classes are scheduled throughout the year and typically consist of 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings for a couple of hours. Class size is limited to no more than 4 students, and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Small class sizes guarantee one-on-one hands-on instruction with the teacher.
Beginner through Master's level. All students must be 16+ years old.
Ensure that the instructor is a member of the Stained Glass Association of America (SGAA), or the Glass Association of America (GAS).
Recently completed a Beginner Lead 101 class at the studio. All 4 students completed their stained glass panels within the timeframe. One student has since become my latest apprentice!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Safety is always paramount when dealing with stained glass. If the student has any special needs (wheelchair access, immunity issues, etc.) please let the instructor know and we will accomodate. No one under the age of 16 is allowed to take these classes due to safety considerations concerning lead exposure.
