About Macey

I love colorful abstract painting and using texture. My background is in marketing and communications and overseeing creative artwork design, photography, videography from planning to production and reviewing the results for our clients. I also have 10 years experience of having my own professional photography business. I've taken what I've learned in overseeing artists and creatives as well as taking 5 art classes a week for over a year and I've created 100+ paintings of which last year I sold 50+ paintings. The last gallery show and competition I was in, I won 4 of the 8 awards given including Judges Choice Award! Currently my artwork is in a Dallas gallery show at Nuu Muse Contemporary Art. I want to give back and teach others how fun and freeing painting can be. I teach paint pouring fluid art, acrylic painting, and acrylic texture painting. (concealed information)

I enjoy painting colorful textured art that brings joy to others!

I took 5 art classes a week for over a year, so I'm use to painting daily. I've seen from having different teachers what works and what doesn't during a class. I want to share my knowledge and inspire others to paint and have fun.

My natural calling in life is teaching others. Over the years I've been a trainer in corpaorte America, I worked in marketing/communications inwhich I oversaw the design and creative process for 16 years, I have 10 years experience of owning my own professional photography business and teaching photography lessons and lesson on how to run a photography business, I've taken 5 art classes a week in 5 different mediums online and in person for over a year, and I'm ready to teach you!

About the lesson

Finding out their background and experience and what their goals are with learning about art and painting. From there I can develop a plan for their learning and growth.

I've worked with students who have little to no art training to those who have painted, but are frustrated and not having fun with it.

Choose a teacher inwhich you like their style when looking at their artwork. That way they can help you develop your own style.

The last art show I was in I won 4 of the 8 awards given out!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What type of art do you want to do-- Are you drawn to abstract paintings? Acrylic painting can be faster drying and less time to work with, are you ok with this? Do you like texture in paintings? Do you like bright colors? If you answered yes to all of these, then I'm the teacher that's right for you!
