About Romelette
Learn and discover new and different techniques that you don’t learn in academics. I allow students and aspiring artists to enhance their unique touch and strength as artist while diversifying and broadening their skills, capabilities and talents. I aim to develop and encourage originality while giving the foundation and knowledge about art.
I started drawing as soon as I could write my name at the age of 3. When I was 5, I explored the watercolors. At the of 14, I used the acrylics for the first time. I was 25 when I first use oil paint as medium.
I studied BS in Fine Art at the University of the Incarnate Word same time I was a BS in Nursing student. Studying art truly helped me go through challenges and pressures while in school and in life in general. Unfortunately, life still got in the way, however, I only have one semester left to get my diploma in BS in Fine Art.
2017, in California, my paintings were juried by 14 professional artists from different parts of California. I was also interviewed by several of these artists. My paintings was welcomed to the Art Gallery and I got accepted as one of the finalists of the Annual Art Competetion
I was featured and awarded as the Artist of the Month (January 2009) by Herwecks Arts and Crafts company.
On 1998, I was awarded Artist of the Year in Cebu City, Philippines.
