About Armand
Greetings! My name is Armand Chéry and I have been a Personal Trainer for the past 21 years. Before becoming a Personal Trainer, I was an avid athlete, worked in finance, and taught French part-time. I work with clients of all ages from 9 to 95 years-old. My specialty is working with folks who want to lose weight, get stronger, and recovering from injuries especially low-back injuries, knee injuries, hip injuries, and neck injuries. I am also a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Trainer and work with many golfers. I would be happy to help you start your fitness journey, give you the tools that you need to be successful, and cheer you along the way. I would like to not only be your trainer, but also your coach, and part of your support system.
I enjoy the fact that I can help make a difference in someone's health. More importantly, I enjoy seeing my clients put to use the tools that I give them, and be successful. I am passionate about fitness and I am happy to get up every day and know that I am going to help somebody.
As a Personal Trainer, I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and by the United States Olympic Committee. I am also certified by Titleist Performance Institute as a Golf Fitness Professional, which qualifies me to work with golfers, may they be professionals or amateurs. I am also a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, a TRX and Kettlebell certified, and a Manual Therapist certified by the Bancroft School of Massage.

The first thing I do is meeting with the client to be sure that we are a match. Once that is established, I set up an appointment with the client for a fitness evaluation to find out what she/he needs, present and past medical history, fitness level, nutritional needs, in order to customize a fitness program that suits their needs.

Armand has many years experience teaching and tutoring French. He is not only a wonderful person, but he is patient, thorough, timely, accountable and kind. He is a native French speaker so this gives him an edge to the nuances of the language. He also speaks fluent Spanish as well and his main language which is English.
Armand is a very hard worker who pays close attention to detail. As a personal trainer, he ensured that his clients received the 1:1 attention they sought for great results. My standard pricing is $65.00 per training session if the client is within 15 miles from me. If it is further than 15 miles, then, $1.31 per mile will apply for each additional mile.
