About David
The JumpDrum is my percussion/fitness invention. It's a vertical array of wooden drums situated over a bass cajon that you play by bouncing, dancing or marching atop it. Because you don't have to "think" about a bass pedal, it's much easier to feel and understand complex polyrhythms. You literally become the rhythm.
I have a master's degree in composition from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. Before inventing the JumpDrum, I was a Hollywood composer/orchestrator. I've worked on over twenty studio feature films. I'm also a trained classical guitarist.
I love music and I love sharing my knowledge.
