About Chirch
I love sharing my passion and excitement for photography with students! I can work with people of all ages.
As one parent stated, 'its the perfect blend of academic and practical hands on experience, each week she spent more and more time deliberately working on her photography skills.' I work with each student on their particular goals in photography and have classes for all types of skills and levels. I have been working in photography for over 3 years.

I have been a teacher for over 11 years in different areas of study.
I have had training on Creative Live and through Professional Photographers of America by reading their monthly information. I have also learned with hands on experience with my husband as he is a photographer and filmmaker as well.

It depends if its a group class or a 1:1 session, but I typically find out what kind of experience they currently have with their camera and photography. Then we talk about what their goals.
I have worked with students 4-18 years old, and would love to work with adults as well.
Make sure your camera is in good working order, have a memory card and a battery. Also have a way to charge the battery and to transfer your images to a computer or IPad. Take a few pictures and think about your goals and what you would like to accomplish by taking my class.
I recently had a family photo shoot for over 5 families and 3 generations. It was amazing and they all did so well listening and posing! It was exhilerating!

Can’t recommend Alyssa enough! She was so easy to work with - we had a 14 month old & a 4 year old on the beach - so not the easiest task! She was extremely patient & had great ideas for natural shots of the kids playing / running around. The colors came out beautiful in the pictures. Love our pictures!
She is just the sweetest! So much fun & carefree to work with. I felt like our family could just be “us” and she captured it! She even got ol Dad to smile & laugh throughout the whole shoot! It was just so fun!!
Great Experience with Alyssa! She was able to keep the kids smiling and everyone enjoyed our photo shoot at the beach! Alyssa did a fantastic job on our family photos! It was a really windy day on the beach, and our twin 2 year olds weren't being the most cooperative, but she was able to get some great shots regardless! She was patient and east to work with. We had our full gallery within a week. Thank you! ❤️
