About DJ

I offer portrait and editorial photography services as well as photo retouching, photo manipulation and compositing, logo, advertisement, cover, editorial, and web design, social media management and marketing, brand, web, and portfolio development, and search engine optimization. I have been in the creative development business for most of my life, and have worked with hundreds of individuals and groups.

I had a friend in the muscle and fitness photography industry who needed to spice up his photos, so I taught him how to enhance photo definition and composite fantastical elements such as energy flows, dragons, etc. A few years later, I began teaching basic photography classes. Mainly how to properly use natural light to your advantage so you don't have to spend a fortune on studio lights.

I have over 20 years of experience. I have learned from some truly brilliant photographers and designers. It is my opinion that university courses tend to be a waste of time as they often teach you things you do not wish or need to know. A customized lesson plan is always best.

About the lesson

Basically, I ask them what they already know and what they would like to know. Pre-planned curriculums only serve to waste time and forces student to spend more money than is necessary. This is a highly unethical practice which should be outlawed in the educational system.

Mostly beauty and fashion photographers looking to keep up with others in the industry by adding extra flair to their photos.

Be sure they don't force you into a series of classes which teach unnecessary information in order to drag it on and keep the money flowing in their direction.

A recent event? I'm not 100% sure what you mean. The last event I attended was a Christopher Titus standup show at a local comedy club. It was an early birthday gift from my sister. We had a blast.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What can you teach me? What tools do I need?
