About Leonardo
My teaching method focuses on the use of daily and comparative language with everyday activities by ordinary people. Separating confusing photographic technological terms and using a more logical and intuitive language allows for students to navigate camera functions confidently and concentrate in the fun part of taking pictures.

I have been teaching "introduction to the use of digital SLR camera" courses for the last few years at art galleries in the Wynwood art district area mainly to adult people.
I studied cinematography and photography as well and have been working as a full-time photographer for the last 15 years. I have been an art work photographer for the last 7 years and I am well known in this field for the art gallery community of Miami-Dade.

First: I want to fully understand what the student wants out this course, the operation of his or her camera? understanding digital photography? or general knowledge?
Secondly: to make sure the person (student) has read the basics of their camera operation manual, like access to menus and so on. To inform the student of some aspects of the camera that have to be done before the class: battery fully charged, memory card, general normal functionality of the camera.etc.
Adult beginners, artists who need photography skills to register their artwork. Photo enthusiasts, photo hobbies. Diverse kind of professionals that need to register some aspects of their line of work.
to be ready to explain what he or she wants to do with their camera that they can not do now, Does (she-he) want to use in travel,? take pictures of his-her children? pets? nature? that at least for me is good guidance.
I have been continuously working documenting artwork and art events in the Miami area and West Palm Beach Convention Center, countless Art Fair at Art Miami and Context art fairs, Red Dot and Spectrum Art Fairs during the Art Basel season, also important artists profiling for several galleries, most recently Art Wynwood. Also 2nd place prize winner of the 2017 International photography competition in the "Conceptual art Photography category promoted by the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA)

Yes, I teach "introduction to digital photography courses" which is a comprehensive chat and explanation with generic graphics support of the operation and capabilities of the digital SRL camera to persons, who either own a DSRL camera or are in the process of acquiring one. This can be achieved in a two 60 minutes course plus a 45 minutes field trip to a suitable nearby location so the student(s) can implement what they have learned.
Price for this course for one person is 95$ plus tx
