About Gina
I have many years experience ! Studied from the young age of 5. As a young adult, I have trained at Eastman Conservatory of Music, University of Rochester ,Rochester, NY. and Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, O.K. I started teaching privately and in other settings in 1990. I had the privilege working with Leonard Bernstein in collage a ORU, as a guest conductor. Dr. Barry Epperley was our Orchestra Conductor. My violin teacher at "The Eastman Conservatory of Music" was John Shallot, Professor of Violin. I substitute taught for Dr. Younovski, Violinists, during the 90's and was active playing violin in our "Praise and Worship Team" at church.
I work with the students to help them reach their desired goals and purpose for their musical training. Every musician has a unique expression of musical for.. I have taught many genres of music, from gospel, pop, classical and on. Feel free to ask questions. I prefer "Suzuki Method" for violin, and use various piano methods. Look forward to hearing from you ! Can you imagine the world without the joy of music? So, it is for the Love of Music that I offer my skills and experience as a preformer and a teacher.
I really enjoy my students. It is a joy to watch them grow in knowledge, skill-based passion for their art form. It is a privilege and I take pride in my work. Accomplished artist are a wonderful and fulfilling purposeful outcome in what I do. Whether a beginner or higher level student, you will enjoy the growth journey. I like to meet and greet and get acquainted. It is important to determine the level of the students musical ability and knowledge as well as the students goals and reasons for taking lessons. I then try to accommodate the student with an appropriate, weekly lesson time. We can meet on a Zoom meeting or on Messenger Video.
