Before I ready to start lessons with a new student, I speak to a parent on the phone, listen to their questions and concerns. I'll be more than happy to stop by your place and greet you personally if needed, suggest any musical books and meet with your kids. Effective teaching is about feeling confident, in control and happy that you have the skills and resources available to teach the way you want and that gets the most out of your students.
