I am a violinist in a band and have travelled the West Coast extensively playing gigs, concerts and festivals. I have a passion for people to experience the joys of playing music. Find my band at (concealed information)

I am an experienced math/science teacher with an enthusiastic and engaging teaching style. For over a decade, I have worked closely with young people to improve their confidence and self-esteem in their studies. It is my passion to empower your son or daughter to be the best student they can be.

Qualifications: B.A/B.Sc (UNSW, Australia), Grad. Dip. Ed. (Macq., Australia)

High School Teacher: Knox Grammar School, Australia (2003-2009), Blue Hills College, Australia (2011-2015)

Assistant Principal: Blue Hills College, Australia (2013-2015)

I spent a lot of time math and science coaching while I was at college. I enjoyed helping young people become more confident in their studies and saw how this also help them to become more confidence in life.

Degrees:
Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts (UNSW, Australia)
Graduate Diploma of Education (Macquarie, Australia)

About the lesson

I like to find out their aptitude in the given subject/instrument as well as their attitude towards it. This involves finding out the strengths and weaknesses, as well as looking at their confidence and engagement in the subject/instrument. Then we set attainable goals.

I also like to build trust through creating an encouraging and an empowering learning environment.

I have worked extensively with students from 5th Grade to 12th Grade for over a decade as a teacher and assistant principal.

My advice would be to find a teacher that helps you feel empowered, encouraged and confident in the subject.

If you believe that you are good in a subject, then you have a much higher chance at attaining a great result.

I was playing violin one night at a noisy local venue in Byron Bay, Australia. My friend and I were playing Jeff Buckley's "Hallelujah" and when I played my solo, the whole venue went silent to listen. This has been my recent musical highlight.

The other event is saying goodbye to 12th Graders at the end of year speech night. It's always bittersweet knowing that you made an impact while saying goodbye and wishing them all the best.
