About Igor
Professional service by a teacher with Ph.D. who taught at MIT and all levels of primary/secondary education
The key to success lies in teaching the student to love what’s difficult. One can always learn more, the question is to find confidence and eagerness to do so. That is the role of the teacher: to inspire these very qualities in the student. One must tell the truth, but with a view of inspiring confidence and liberating the inner self of the learner.
I have taught since 2002 during my undergraduated degree at Boston Conservatory of Music

Initially we meet for a free 15 min consultation + 1 full (paid) lesson. During that time the student is introduced to my appraoch to teaching and we find out whether we are a good student-teacher match.
During my career I worked with everyone age 4 to 74. I work best with adults and teenagers.
My students played a recital in which they fundraised money for their less fortunate peers in Nepal.
