About John
While I haven't been teaching for a long time, and while I am only 20 years old, I have been playing piano for well over a decade and I am well aquainted with playing pop, jazz, and blues, genres which I find most exciting. I am extremely charismatic and kind, and I am willing to work with any beginners who want to explore piano. In college, I have also taken several music theory courses, and I intend to minor in music.
Simply put, I love playing music. It helps me get away from the stress in my life, and I would love to introduce others to the same joy that music gives me. I also intend on becoming a teacher one day, so being a music tutor is ideal for me.
