About Patience
My teaching style is personal and seeks to pinpoint the skills, or needed skills, that the student has. My desire for each of my students is for them to overcome the obstacles that they find in their music learning, and then develop a love for music that impacts their lives long-term.
I have been playing piano for as long as I can remember, but only began pursuing piano as a goal for approximately 10 years. Additionally, I have three years of collegiate music experience (both voice and piano). I also have self-contracted to play piano for chapel services at a small private college in Florida.

Typical process of teaching involves understanding where the student is in applied and theoretical music. Lessons typically include learning how to apply music theory by learning various pieces of music in different styles, doing some book work, learning scales, and working around the skill sets of the individual.
