Experienced tutor in Piano in Washington, Valerie offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

My 11 year old son has been taking lessons from Valerie for over two years. It was amazing to see how well he responded to her teaching style!

She created a high standard and was such an excellent teacher! My daughter grew so much under Valerie's instruction. She was my daughters favorite teacher.

Valerie is an incredible teacher. My son had taken piano for several years before studying with Valerie, and I noticed a significant improvement in his sound, technique, and touch after just a few weeks with her. His playing took an incredible leap under Valerie's teaching!

Valerie is very good at her craft. When I was looking for a piano teacher and saw her videos playing piano I knew right away that she's the perfect teacher for my daughter. She's very kind and patient with her students as well. Bella learned a lot from her and we were saddened by her leaving. I will definitely recommend her to anyone 100%! We wish to see her again and maybe one day watch her play live.😊

Valerie is a fantastic teacher with a very patient and dynamic style.

I am an adult student who played when I was younger before starting to learn on my own after 20 years without studying. Valerie has helped me unlearn my bad habits and redevelop proper tecnique. She understands my busy work schedule and has helped me set reasonable goals so that I never feel like I'm stagnating but always making progress. Hopefully very soon I will play my first recital since I was 12 years old!

Thank you Valerie!

I have been taking lessons from Valerie for the last 8 months. I have been really enjoying the process, as I have started from scratch as an adult. I feel like I'm making great progress. I thought it would be difficult to learn the piano, but she uses techniques that proved me wrong :)

Life has improved since Valerie Wellington became my piano instructor. As a 70 year old beginner, I was, at first, primarily grateful for the opportunity to study with her. But, the progress she's taught and encouraged in just a year has been transformative. It's pretty exciting to wake up in your retirement and discover a deeper relationship with music. She's patient, intuitive and decisive. I consider myself very fortunate to be one of her online students.
