About Ines
I am an educator looking for tutoring opportunities to fill my summer. I have experience with pre-school (3 years) to 8th grade, general and special education. I strongly believe that teaching is not about what to learn but how to learn, and strive for student independence and skills that last a lifetime- rather than passing a test and forgetting the rest.
I am pro-neurodiversity and specialize in maximizing the strengths of atypical learners. My favorite part of a school year is watching a child have their "get it" moment and realize they CAN do it. Let's chat about your tutoring needs and see if we're a good fit!

Building rapport and setting expectations are an important part of new tutor- student relationship. We'll talk about student needs and what works best for your child before the first session. The first few tutoring will be "fun and flexible" while setting up clear routines before we push to more challenging topics.
