About Lena
I have worke in public education for more than 10 years. My education is an associates degree of science, and then I went to work full time in the Educational system. Substitute, Librarian Assistant, Special Education assistant to special needs students on a one on one basis, are just a few of many skills I have acquired over the years.

I typically start out with a fun activity to get to know the student. Knowing a students interest helps me to find out what they like. A student that is bored will resist learning. However if I can find out what they like their knowledge can be built based on their interest. Knowledge is built on the shoulders of Giants, a familiar quote from Isaec Newton.
