About Gwen
Hello! I am currently a freshman in college looking to pick up some extra money. I really love teaching and I want to be able to help younger kids do well in school. My focus is mainly reading, but I'm happy to help with math as well.
I mentioned this before but I really love teaching and helping people. Especially now, with covid, I know it can be hard for younger kids to learn and I just want to do my part to help out.
In terms of reading, I have been in honors/AP English and writing classes every year since 5th grade. And in terms of math, I haven't been in honors every year but I am currently taking calculus in college which must count for something. I also have some experience with tutoring people around my age and I have observed professional tutors to better form my lesson plans.

Well, I would start off by just getting to know them a little bit so I can tailor my lesson plans to work with how they learn. And then I would evaluate what they already know and move from there.
