About Savannah
I want you to succeed. My goal, is to get you to a place where you don't need me anymore.
I love working with students and helping them discover their abilities in reaching their goals.
I got started teaching as a tutor and TA. I then began teaching relationship education classes after the completion of my Bachelor's Degree. I taught freshman-level classes during my Master's Degree, and I am currently Adjunct Faculty at a University.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Family Studies with an emphasis in Human Development and a Master's Degree in Human Development & Social Policy with an emphasis in Infant Development Research.
I have been a tutor for 5 years. I teach at the University Level as well as teaching Family Life Education.

When working with a new student, I first need to gauge what you know, and what you don't know. That way, we can work together in a systematic way to get you to the level you want to be at.
I've worked with students from all backgrounds. I've worked with ESL students, transfer students, students with learning disabilities, and students who just wanted a bit of help. I am happy to work with anyone and everyone.
Find someone with who you converse easily. You want to be comfortable with your teacher/tutor. Don't get caught with someone that you feel uncomfortable with.
At the conclusion of my first-semester teaching at the University-level, I had a student come up to me and tell me that they were changing their major to Human Development because they were so inspired by me and my class.
