About Fallon
Recent NYU graduate, receiving a dual Masters in Childhood and Special Education 1-6. Student taught in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades. Substitute Teacher in a 6th grade ELA classroom, general and ICT classrooms- helped transfer curriculum to remote learning and taught on various online platforms such as Google Classroom and Google Meet.
What I enjoy most is helping students tap into their full potential and reach those "A-Ha!" moments. Students have the abilities to learn any piece of information or attain any new skill they desire; it is our job to teach them in a way that molds to their needs and abilities, which will allow them to understand the material in the best way they know how.
I have always had a passion for teaching, ever since I was young. I made sure that every work experience, internship, and volunteer opportunity in some capacity deals with working with students of all ages.
I am a recent NYU graduate, receiving a dual Masters in Childhood and Special Education 1-6. I have taught in nursery schools, student taught in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 6th grade classrooms, been a Group Leader at a sleepaway camp, a head teacher teaching 4 and 5 year olds reading, writing, and math, and substitute taught for long term in a 6th grade ELA classroom.

When working with a new student, I first like to understand who they are as people! I like to know their interests, hobbies, any extracurricular activities they participate in, their favorite books, tv shows, movies, etc. When I know the student I am working with, I can better engage them in my lessons!
I have been lucky enough to work with a diverse group of students, from ages 3 to 15. I have students of all different backgrounds, cultures, religions, and abilities.
