About James
Welcome! My teaching focuses on my student's strengths and reasons for learning. I ensure that students are taught from a personalized curriculum that brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the music fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life.
I started teaching in 2019 with a General Music position before switching to a Band Director position in 2021. I have a Music Education Degree from DePaul University, and my primary instrument is saxophone.

I work with all kinds of people and all kinds of students. I have worked with children 10 and above, and have worked with adults as well. I have also worked with students with disabilities, IEP's and 504 Plans.
