About Jay

I was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in 1997, but began formal firearms training in 2006. I’ve trained under the following instructors:

I am an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, and NRA Certified Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor.

I earned my Advanced rating on the F.A.S.T. Wall of Fame as one of only three shooters do so with additional stressors applied (financial penalty for missed shots).

I was a Vickers Shooting Method Regional Endorsed Instructor and was Colt AR-15 Armorer Certified by Ken Elmore of Specialized Armament. I’m also a founding Staff member of (concealed information) – for Teachers and Students of the Pistol.

About the lesson

Self defense lessons offered by Jay are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Aliquippa. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
