About Harold (Jay)

Our Mission is to Prepare Empower, Educate and Protect (PEEP) women (men classes available) to protect themselves with training in classroom, hands on, and with our safe personal protection products.

I have known several females in my personal life who have been "abused," "stalked," "raped," and several other heinous crimes, which could have been possibly been avoided by knowing what to do, or what to look for (most of the people they knew).

None of the training is sport focused, but "combat" focused, through skills I have learned in the military, as a bounty hunter, bail bondsman, and providing security.

I have 20 years studying martial arts and self defense, this includes Muay Thai, Muay Boran, Boxing, Grappling, Wrestling, Kick Boxing, Thai Boxing and more.

I have found that the no belt systems work the best. Self Defense training should be focused on protecting yourself, by including instructions on how to be fast, efficient, and also provide training on what to look for to avoid trouble.

This should not include flashy movements, non-realistic, and risky training, which will give you a false sense of security.

Remember situational awareness should be 80% of what self defense is the other, 20% is what top do when the 80% fails.

Remember Less Is Best!

The world we live in right now is becoming more unsafe and brutal by the minute, it is an honor to help others to empower themselves, build self confidence and feel safe.

I started Martial Arts training in the military through private instruction, then I began teaching soldiers, and expanded from there.

Over 20 years of experience in Martial Arts, and providing Self Defense training, I have served as a Bail Bondsman, Bounty Hunter, Bouncer, and concert security.

About the lesson

To get to know them, what their areas of concerns are, and help to provide a solution that will help them to feel safe and empowered.

Both male and female, students have received training from me.

To find someone they feel confortable with, and who can explain what they are trying to teach, and how they can help them.

A recent event I am fond of was going to another state and providing a self defense class for a group of young females.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. Not one standard of training fits all.

2. Are their concerns "heard."

3. Do they have any "life experiences" outside the dojo.

4. Beware of "big egos" and "big talk."
