About Susan
I teach Intro to Sewing. Learn all components of your machine and how to thread it. It's a 2 hour class. Your first project is to make a pillow. All materials are provided in the kit.
I have a sewing studio where I have the same machines, side by side, to fascilitate the ease of learning. I can send photos upon request. I have classes filling up and teach on weekends only.
I have a Masters degree in teaching and I'm very patient. I have been sewing with my business for 10 years. I can get you started with the magnificent hobby of sewing.
I have a masters degree in education. I have taught in community centers and now I have my own studio!

I start from the beginning and show new students how a sewing machine operates. I have a new course called, " Sewing in Tandem." In my studio, there's 2 exact machines and with individual instruction, I can have you sewing on a machine in minutes! I will teach all you need to get started.
