About Sandy
I combine sewing, crafting, quilting and crocheting with a healthy dose of humor and cat antics. Its a unique combination and always an adventure
I have over 50 years experience in sewing, including quilting, pattern drafting, custom garments, bridal gown, special occasion attire, home dec, machine embroidery, applique and more. I was briefly a fashion design major in college. I own and have read the entire Singer Sewing Library set of books, Couture sewing books, taken many classes, and learned from countless items made.

I review any existing projects they have, inquire what kinds of projects they're interested in, what kind of machine they have, when it was last serviced, and what their end goals are with the technique we're learning. I then customize a lesson blueprint for them, compile a materials list, list of places at which materials can be found, a deadline to acquire them by, then setup the next session.
