We determine what the student's goal is, and if their resources (time, experience, equipment, access to lessons and supplies) can accommodate it. Then we make a plan with a specific number of lessons with/without work done outside of class.
I provide a list of common terms that new students might encounter, as well as suggestions for shopping for supplies.
Look for someone whose vibe is similar to yours. My style of teaching is like having a friend walk you through something with patience, some coffee, and without judgement. We set a goal, get things done, and have fun doing it!
