About Rebecca
I love teaching. I've spent my entire adult life working as a professional singer and actor, and it has given me great joy.
I work with young people who are still in school as well more established singers and actors. Breath control and support, ear training, expansion of range, mending "breaks" in the voice and song coaching are just some of the elements of our private singing lessons. I like to work from a technical perspective and from an artistic perspective, at every lesson. But what we focus on mostly depends on what you need and what your goals are.
In my more than 30 years working as a professional singer and voice actor, I've had to make sure my voice was warmed up and ready for every booking, every audition. I've had to be able to sing all night and still be able to show up in the studio the next morning, ready to record.
You don't have to risk losing your voice trying to get a great sound. And just because you cannot hit that note today, doesn't mean you won't be able to tomorrow.
