About Howard

My name is Howard Rodmon, stage name, EJ Rodmon, and I have been singing and dancing for 10 years now. I have been in countless musicals, music festivals, and shows around the United States. The last 2 years, I have been releasing music and since then have gained over half a million streams on Spotify alone, sealed brand deals and partnerships, and gained over 40k followers on Instagram. Although I am young and still have lot to learn, the 10 years that I have been doing this I have almost become an expert at singing, how to take care of the voice, how to develop a mixed voice, how to reach higher notes, how to make your tone more rich, how to dance to any beat, how to effortlessly come up with hit songs and so much more. I would love to share my knowledge and skills with you. Look forward to working with you!

For Singers:

- I was trained by several vocal coaches for about 5 to 6 out of the 10 years I have been singing. One of those vocal coaches were trained by an associate of Michael Jackson's vocal coach, Seth Riggs. Other than proper vocal training through coaches, I pretty much self taught by using other singers I loved as a guide, but my breakthrough in singing really came once I started working with my most recent vocal teacher, who is the one that was trained by Michael Jackson's vocal coach's assistant, and he still trains my voice to this day.

2. For dancers:

I was completely self taught when it comes to dancing. No classes or anything, just did a lot of watching videos and mimicing the moves I saw which later led to me discovering how to use the beat as inspiration and create my own moves. I would mostly look at dancers such as Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, The Les Twins, Ayo & Teo, The Nicolas Brothers, Sammy Davis Jr, Gene Kelly, etc.

3. For songwriters:

- I was self taught for songwriting. Between just writing as much songs as I could and looking at videos on Youtube

About the lesson

1. For Singers:

- My typical process for working with a new singing student is I first evaluate their voice to see how strong it is, how high can it stretch, how low it can stretch, etc. Once that evaluation is done, I will then first teach them how to breathe correctly if not already doing so because most singers do not know that they are cutting off half of their singing ability by breathing incorrectly. I will then move on to the weakest part of their voice and build that up, then do that with each part of the voice.

2. For Dancers:

-My typical process for working with new dancing student is I first evaluate their skill by seeing how creative they can be with their dancing, how advanced they are in the skill, etc. Bases on how they perform on the evaluation I will help them develop the style of dancing they desire by showing them how to do common, go to moves, and how to use the music to their advantage when creatively dancing

3. Songwriters:

- My typical process when working with new songwriting students, I see how knowledgeable they are about the structure of a song, how to come up with a hook or chorus, and how to use the beat to their advantage when writing. I will then use that evaluation of skills to understand which area of songwriting to target and continue to do that with each area.

-Sessions come in 30 minute sessions, or 1 hour sessions

- Options are once a week, twice a week, or three times a week

-You can pay per session or monthly

1. If you choose pay per session, the payment is as follows: $30 per 30 min session, $50 per 1 hour session(Save $10)

-If you choose once a week, pay monthly: $90 a month(Save $30) for 30 min session, $120 a month(Save $80) for 1 hour session

Note: 1 hour session, Once a week, pay per month is usually the preffered plan based on previous customers

- If you choose twice a week, pay monthly: $150 a month(Save $90) for 30 min session, $200 a month(Save $200) for 1 hour session

-If you choose three times a week, pay monthly: $250 a month(Save $100) for 30 min session, $300 a month(Save $300) for 1 hour session
