About Phillip
Phillip Boykin is a Tony Award and Grammy Award Nominee Credits... Broadway/Opera/Jazz/Gospel; The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, On The Town, Sunday In The Park With George, Once On This Island, NYC Opera Seance On A Wet Afternoon, Cleveland Opera, Director of the NY Gospel Brothers, The Harlem Gospel Singers, Jazz at the Hartt School and Howard University.
I enjoy using my years of performances on stage and screen and experiences to help other singers or actors in any style of music; to grow and sing or act to the best of their abilities; starting from where they are in every style of music or performing.
As a student working on my Master's, I had to teach individual students as well as a Voice Class and I've been teaching ever since.
I have students sing for me and I deside if I can help them improve or not. I only accept singers who are serious about singing and people who have a natural instrument. I work with beginners as well as professional singers in all genres of singing from classical to pop and jazz.
