About Frederick

I just finished my D1 College Soccer career at Saint Mary's College and I am licensed as Soccer Coach on the UEFA B- Level.

I have experience coaching kids and improving their technical skills with the ball.

I am a 23 year old german international and a Graduate Student at Saint Mary's College.

I am playing soccer since I am 5 years old.

I started because I wanted to share my experience with children that are about to start their soccer career. I want to teach them the technical essentials, because that's the foundation you need and you always need to work on to become a great soccer player. I also want my players to build confidence throughout our practices and to have fun and express their love for soccer. Because that's why we play it and work hard for it: to have fun on the pitch!

I have a lot of playing experience myself, playing soccer since I am 5 years old. I played for regional selctions and with players that turned pro in Germany, like Matthias Ginter, Sebastian Kerk or Fabian Menig. I had several Coaches from different backgrounds in Germany and I had the D1 College Soccer experience, playing against programs like Stanford, Cal, Akron or UCSB.

Since 2015 I am licensed as Soccer Coach on the UEFA B-Level, which qualifies me as elite coach for youth players.

Currently I have one student who I am working with. Previously I coached a regional selection of young talents in Germany to get them ready for try-outs at academies.

Before I was responsible for little-league soccer.

About the lesson

We will have a first practice together so that I can find out on what we have to work on. Then I will make an individual plan for the following 4 weeks to improve my student's skills. After 4 weeks, we will analyize the current level and the improvement of the last weeks together and I will make a new plan for the next 4 weeks.

I worked with the following age groups and skill levels:

5-10 year old kids: working on fundamental soccer technique

10-15 year old talents: improving their high-level of technique and playing intelligence

Find someone that is passionate about what he/she is teaching. Find someone that cares about you and your development and approaches your needs with an individual plan. Find someone that makes your son/ daughter come home satisfied and motivated.

Currently I am working with a 10 year old soccer player twice a week. We mainly work on his technical abilities and vision on the field.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I want?

What's my goal?

What are my needs?

How much time/ effort do I want to invest?

What type of communication do I want from my coach/ teacher?
