About Andrew
I have experience as a graduate assistant in political science courses at the university level. I have undergraduate degrees in political science (with a minor in sociology) and biology, as well as a masters in public administration.
I love being able to share information and help others understand the world around them.
I began teaching in some capacity when I was a graduate assistant. In this position I would help answer any questions students may have about assignments or topics, as well as grade assignments leaving advice on how to make a paper stronger or clear up any misunderstanding on a topic.

I like to first understand what a student may be finding difficult to understand. I am then able to build a presentation or work through a problem with a student to find the best way to clear up a topic. This could include: finding any additional information that could be beneficial to expand on a topic, since textbooks can at times be poorly written; providing examples to better illustrate a topic; and creating an environment where it is a back and forth discussion, as I find this to be the most helpful in building an understanding of a topic instead of a one-sided lecture with no participation.
I have only worked with undergraduate students, though I am open to working with high school students.
