In the first meeting I have a conversation with the student and the family to get to know them better and learn about their goals. I answer any questions they may have during this introduction time, this builds rapport and helps everyone involved feel at ease. I assess the student to learn their interests and develop a plan that will help the student reach the goals established.
I have worked with preschool age up to 12th grade. Have worked with special needs students, Spanish speaking only students and ELL.
To let the teacher know what works best for them at the time of studying, what they find easy and what things they struggle with. This will help in developing a plan in which the student will feel comfortable and be able to work at his/her maximum potential.

She has helped me and my children so much! My family and I are going on a missionary trip here soon to El Salvador and we didn’t know any spanish. She has taught us a lot of spanish and even little songs to sing with the kids down there. Very pleased I highly recommend her.!!
