About Ory
Oriana, originally from Mexico City, is a native Spanish speaker. Her rich cultural heritage includes a strong connection to Spain, as her grandfather was from Galicia. In 2006, she relocated to the United States with her husband. She holds an associate degree in video game and animation from the Game Institute Austin Texas . She spent four years teaching Spanish before transitioning to a career in fitness. Currently, she works as national certified online personal trainer for special populations and yoga instructor. Two years ago, she and her husband moved to Portland, Oregon, where she recognized a growing demand for Spanish teachers. Passionate about teaching Spanish, she also takes pride in being a strong advocate for the culture of Mexico City and Mexican culture as a whole. She reads easy news in Japanese every week because she believes languages are like “Home GYMs “ for the brain .
