About Andrea
I was forced to take Spanish for at least 2 years in high school. I almost failed after the first year, but then I grew to love it. I have a B.A. in Spanish and also certification in Spanish translation and interpretation. I started tutoring Spanish in college in 2000 and then started my own tutoring business in 2012. Every professional job I have had has always involved Spanish translation or interpretation. I studied abroad in Spain and Mexico. In total, I have over 20 years of tutoring & find great satisfaction in helping others.
I tailor each tutoring session to the individual. I am very in-tune to people & can adapt to all personality types/learning differences. I love the Spanish language & understand how hard it is for some. I like creating unique ways to study & understand the language. I genuinely care about my students & how well they are doing in class. If they fail, then that means I have done something wrong.
B.A. in Spanish & Sociology; certification in Spanish translation & interpretation; study abroad experience in Spain & Mexico
