About Vanessa
I have always wanted to learn languages since I was a little girl. Although I am not Hispanic, my family and I would speak Spanish to each other around the house since I was born because they learned it before they moved to the United States from Jamaica. Spanish has always been one of my favorite languages to learn. I took Spanish 1,2, and 3 in High School and have gotten very high grades. I am also learning how to speak Korean. I hope that if you are having any problems with Spanish that you would contact me so that you will soon be more confident in the language.😊
I have not had any professional training but I have taught a few of my former classmates who were in my Spanish classes and I have also helped them with their homework and answered any Spanish related question that they might have had.

My typical process for when working with a new student is first figuring out what they already know and going from there.
I would encourage them to look for a teacher who is patient and kind and also is very familiar with the basics of Spanish.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should first re-read the question or think it over and if they still do not understand it, they should ask how it should be done instead of just wanting the answer with no explanation.
