About Elizabeth

I have been working as a Special Education teacher for the past fifteen years. During this time, I also taught in Guatemala and in China for two years each. I graduated from University of Central Florida in 2014 with a masters in Exceptional Student Education and a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. With a desire to continue to grow and learn in the area of ESE, I am going back to school starting in Fall semester to get a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis with the hope to become Board Certified soon after. I believe every student has their own unique way of learning and sometimes they need a little extra assitance to tap into that unique potential.

About the lesson

It's important for the student to feel comfortable with the teacher. Through activities and games, I learn the student I am working with and assess a level of study that would suit them best.
