About Mallory
I have been a self-contained special education teacher for 12 years. I currently teach in an 8:1:1 classroom for students in grades 3-5. I have worked with students with ASD l, developmental delays and speech and language delays. I am Orton Gillingham trained and have also been coached in ABA and discrete trials. I am confident in my ability to work with students who use AAC to communciate. In addition to my academic training I am also a certified Crisis Prevention Intervention instructor and have a strong behvaioral background. I believe that EVERY student has greatness within them and having a front row seat in watching them grow academically and socially is why I love doing what I do. I also belive in helping students with functional skills that are unique to them in order to increase their independance. I love to sing, dance and be silly all while learning and growing.
