I am a former elementary special education teacher. I graduated in 2012 with degrees in both general education and special education.
I am a huge believer that every child can learn and i strive to make that an achieveable goal.

I usually take the first meeting together to get to know the child but also the family. i discuss what they want to get out of this experience as well as what the parents wanted them to get out of it. We work together to set some goals so that the child has something to work towards. Towards the end of the session i give them a "quiz" to find out where they are strong in a given subject and where they need help.
