About Francesca
I used to struggle a lot with confidence especially when it came to speaking foreign languages and I tried to avoid it at all costs when I was younger. While doing my A-Levels and since I've come to university I've become a lot more comfortable in speaking in German, which has made such a difference in learning a language.
Having started to learn Portuguese a year ago, I have a newfound appreciation of how difficult and daunting it can be when it comes to learning new languages! Speaking a foreign language is such an amazing skill to have and opens up so many doors- whether it's in a professional setting or on holiday!

I like to incorporate all aspects of language learning, including speaking, writing, reading and listening, to ensure a well-rounded result. Each lesson will be tailored to the individual's needs and the teaching style they find the best- they can be either 30 minutes or 1 hour.
I achieved an A* at A-Level and am currently studying Undergraduate German (and Portuguese) at Oxford University.
I am keen to tutor at all levels and ages up to A-Level / intermediate, which I have prior experience of with a few students who achieved As and A*s after struggling with the language.
