About Lauren
Give your child the competence, confidence and skills of aquatic safety with Infant Swimming Resource's Self-Rescue® program. The safest provider of survival swimming lessons for children 6 months to 6 years of age.
Today, our mission, “Not One More Child Drowns,” is the foundation of everything we do and is the driving force behind ISR’s employees, our independent ISR Instructors, and our major corporate partnerships. We believe the successful prevention of the leading cause of accidental death for children under the age of 4 in the U.S. will require a large group of caring and capable professionals whose sole focus is to save lives. To date, we have delivered more than 8,000,000 ISR Self-Rescue® lessons and saved more than 800 lives!
ISR Instructors are the most highly trained and qualified Instructors in any swimming program in the country and must undergo strict re-certification testing annually. Each Instructor is academically trained and tested in areas such as child psychology, physiology, anatomy and behavioral science to provide the safest lesson possible for your child. In addition to 200 hours of academic training, each instructor spends a minimum of 60 hours of supervised in-water training working with actual students. All ISR Instructors maintain certification in adult, children and infant CPR and First Aid.

ISR’s unique results are achieved through fully customized, safe and effective, one-on-one lessons with only your child and the Instructor in the water. What your child will learn, and the way he or she will learn it, is what makes ISR so different from traditional swimming lessons. Always putting safety first, ISR emphasizes competence, which leads to confidence, and provides the foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment in and around the water.
What your child will learn depends on his or her age and developmental readiness, but in all cases, at minimum, your child will learn to roll onto his or her back to float, rest, and breathe, and to maintain this position until help arrives.
Generally speaking, children ages 6 months to 1 year learn the ISR Self-Rescue® skill of rolling onto their backs to float, rest and breathe. They learn to maintain this position until help arrives.
Older, more mobile children will learn the full ISR Self-Rescue® sequence of swimming until they need air, rotating onto the back to float, then rolling back over to continue swimming. ISR students are taught to repeat this sequence until they reach the safety of the steps, side of the pool, or the shoreline.

Details
The National Registration fee for our program is $105 per child.
All ISR students are required to register with ISR and pay a registration fee. This registration fee goes directly to ISR to review your child's developmental milestones and medical history to ensure that he/she can enjoy a safe and productive sensori-motor learning experience.
My lesson fee is $80 per week and $70 for siblings.
