About Clare
I provide a one-on-one learning experience that will focus directly on the students goals. I wll spend each session completely dedicated to the best learning experience you can have.
My teaching style is less strict structure, and more students pace. This style is helpful for students who are stressed with the fast pace of school, and are not able to ask questions.
I love being able to share my knowledge with whoever needs it. I have a passion for teaching and I feel like if one has something to teach, then it is our duty to help those who want to learn.
I specialize in the Biological Sciences, as was my degree in college. I have also been a competition swimmer since I was 4, and a lifeguard. I feel like everyone should know how to swim.
I have been a tutor since highschool, and have been tutoring specifically in Science since freshman year of college.
I did my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, and I am working in my masters in Genetics; each with a specialization in Forensics.
I have also been competition swimming since I was four years old, and have been a lifeguard for 4 years also.

First, I will ask what the students goals are for the sessions, and what they want to learn or what they have problems with.
Second, I will ask what their learning timeline is, so I can better prepare each lesson we have together.
Lastly, I will make sure that the student is happy with how I am teaching them, and ask them if they need any accomodation with learning styles.
I specialize in tutoring students with mental disabilities; mostly ADD, ADHD, and anxiety disorders. I will always work with any type of student, as nobody should miss out on learning.
