About Hritwik
I have been learning tabla since I was only 5 years old. I had an instructor at home whom i learned for 2 years. Then I took lessons for 2 years at Shilpokola Academy in Bangladesh. After I moved to USA i started learning at Udichi school of performing arts from Tapan modak. Currently I am learning for great maestro Anirban Roy Chowdhury who is desciple of Ustad IZakiri Hussain. I am also getting my Bachelor degree in western classical music at City College of New york. I used to perform with pep band, jazz, and concert band when I was in high school. I have been music for my whole life and I still can’t get enough of it.
