About Stan

Our instructor is a 9th Dan Black Belt who has been teaching Martial Arts for over 30 years. Grand Master Stan Singleton is a member of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame and an excellent instructor of students ages 5 and over. We are a family owned and operated business with very competitive prices and a new 3200 sqft. studio.

I love sharing my knowledge of Taekwondo and working with students of all ages and ability levels.

When I reached the level of 1st Dan Bleck Belt, an opportunity to teach was presented to me. I love sharing the art of Taekwondo with others and believe very strongly in the many benefits it has to offer to students of all ages. I have a passion for the art and for working with students who wish to learn and achieve their goals.

I am currently a 9th Dan Black belt who has studied Taekwondo for 38 years. I have had my own studio since 1985. In July, 2019, I was inducted into the Martial Arts Hall if Fame. I have taught Taekwondo to students of all age levels since 1985, and also teach Kickboxing and self defense classes.

About the lesson

Each student is orientated according to his or her prior knowledge. We begin with an explanation of Taekwondo, and teach the basic principals. An information packet is provided that covers the Lineage, history behind each kata/form, and what is taught at each level. Students progress at their own rate, so there is no timeline between advancing to higher belts.

I have worked with students if all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels. I truly believe that anyone can be a Maetial Artist if they choose to put in the time and effort to do so. I will work with any student who has the passion to learn.

I believe the best advice is to look for an instructor who not only has knowledge, experience and dedication, but most importantly has a passion for what he or she is teaching. You can have knowledge and experience, but it takes passion to truly inspire others.

The most recent tournament in which my students participate is always the one I am fondest of. When the students take the skills and knowledge they have acquired and put them into practice, it makes me proud of them. The biggest reward is seeing the pride they take in what they have accomplished.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I believe that the instructor must meet the clients needs when it comes to the goals they want to achieve. Also, the student must ask themselves if this is something that want to dedicate their time and effort to. What are you short term and long term goals when it comes to a Martial Arts program? What do you hope to achieve from your participation in this program?

Wow! What a workout yet you can work at your own pace or push harder. Stan, instructor & owner, is positive and encouraging while detailed and knowledgeable in teaching the basics of a boxing workout. I’ve never done kickboxing before, but plan to pursue this new type of workout.

Our classes are $120 per month, which includes the beginner or advanced classes, and the uniform and belt. Currently, we are offering 50% off when a second student joins. This would be $180 per month for two students.
