About Jilaine
We are a mobile sports and fitness program serving children ages 2-12. We travel to daycares, preschools, schools, libraries, and provide a friendly introduction to sports and fitness for kids through classes, camps, and special events.
Our experienced staff meet or exceed all state of Ohio requirements for working with children including fingerprint background checks.
Kids Love JumpBunch! Out lively music, colorful equipment, patient coaches, and provent curriculum all contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.
I started the JumpBunch business in 2008 and was the main instructor of the program at the beginning. Prior to that, I had worked in camps, parks and recreation programs, and other settings, and have worked with children all of my lilfe. As our business has grown to more than 80 schools around the Columbus area, we have 8-10 coaches who all come to JumpBunch from a variety of backgrounds, but all who have exgtensive experience working with children

We work with groups of children ages 2 and up. Our instructors allow children the freedom to join in the activities as they feel comfortable and at an age/ability appropriate level.
Toddler through 8ths grade from all backgrounds. The nature of our company is to work with all types of children to have a friendly introduction to sports and fitness, build motor skils, and develop a passion for being physically active.
Make sure they've been properly vetted, with a minimum of a fingerprint background check, state required medical clearance (vaccinations), and legitimate credentials. There are many people out there who believe they love working with children but do not have the patience, experience, and education to back it up.
Research consistently says that young children should not be specializing in any type of sports or fitness program, and instead should be building motor skills and being introduced to a variety of different activities.
Teaching a "superhero" sports class the other day, and in the middle of class, a child exuberantly shouted, "I JUST LOVE THIS!"

1. What is the background of the teacher, how are they qualified to teach this program?
2. Have you had a fingerprint background check? Are you insured?
3. What can I tell my child in terms of what to expect from the class so that I can prepare them for the first session?
4. What will be done in class to handle my child's unique likes, fears, etc.?
