About Matthew
I blend all of the knowledge and teaching styles that I have learned over the past 15 years to create lessons that are fun, engaging, and helpful so my students learn and retain lots of information in every lesson. Call or text me to schedule a lesson or get a quote, (concealed information)
I really enjoy it when one of my students finally masters a skill that they were struggling with for a while.
I was assisting at a summer tennis camp and one of the kids came up to me at the end of the week asking if I could teach him one-on-one.
I have played tennis since I was 5. I played for 4 years on my varsity high school team, and was a captain senior year. I have worked at Tennis summer camps for the past 3 summers.

For beginners I start by developing a students forehand and backhand technique for the first few lessons. We will gradually move onto more advanced shots. For experienced players I start by watching their technique and if there are flaws I work with the player to correct them. And then build consistency over time and work on more advanced shots and strategies.
I have worked with many kids from the ages of 6-15 of all skill levels. And adults of all ages and skill levels.
