About Josie
I have recently graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors of Music (focus: tuba performance) and will be pursuing my Master's degree in tuba performance in the fall.
I have been playing the tuba for around 10 years now and have a good amount of playing experience. My favorite memory so far has been premiering a piece with the KU Wind Ensembke at the Kennedy Center.
My favorite part of playing the tuba is sharing the music and the instrument with others! I'm excited to learn and grow with my students!
I have a Bachelors of Music from the University of Kansas. I studied with Professor Scott Watson for four years. I also studied with Tim Buzbee for one semester while at KU.
