About Paula
Dr. Paula Thomas-Lee, NCTM received her Bachelor of Music degree in piano and Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She completed her D.M.A. in Music Education at the University of Georgia. She is currently an active member of several organizations including the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, Mu Phi Epsilon, Music Teacher’s National Association, National Federation of Music Clubs, National Guild of Piano Teachers, Kindermusik Educator’s Association, and Music Educator’s National Conference. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music thru the Music Teachers National Association. She has had several articles published in Georgia Music News and Clavier Companion featuring piano instruction and music for the younger child. In addition, she has presented her research at various local, state, and national conferences. Dr. Thomas-Lee is currently the elementary music specialist at Cheatham Hill Elementary in Cobb County Public Schools and loves working with children everyday to nurture their love for music and music making! She is also a part-time professor of Music Education at Kennesaw State University.
