About Janat
I am an experienced tutor with three years of experience working with students and a strong passion for education. I believe a good tutor is someone who genuinely cares about improving a student’s grades and is willing to work hard to help them succeed. I have competed successfully at the state level, earning 1st and 2nd place awards, where I developed effective memorization and study strategies that I now share with my students. I am also involved in an international education research project focused on student self-assessment and improving learning outcomes. As a current Posse Scholarship semifinalist, I value leadership, mentorship, and helping younger students recognize their potential. My goal is to be a patient, dependable, and dedicated tutor who helps every student feel supported, improve academically, and become confident in their abilities.

I tutor elementary and middle school students using a personalized approach that focuses on finding and fixing individual learning gaps. Instead of ignoring small mistakes, I help students understand why they made them and build the skills needed to prevent them in the future.
My lessons are made to each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas of difficulty. I use self-assessment, targeted practice, simple explanations, and memorization strategies to make challenging concepts easier to understand and remember.
With three years of tutoring experience, my goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to become more independent and confident learners. I create a patient, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. Being able to set strong communication and a learning style that will makes students want to learn, sets me apart from other tutors.
