About Sylvia
Dr. Chien has over 15 years of music teaching experience. She specializes with students from age of 4 to adults for violin, viola, and piano. She emphasizes on developing solid foundation for posture and theory knowledge and ultimately motivates them to enjoy and appreciate music. Many of her students have been awarded superior ratings in Region and All-State Orchestras and Solo ensemble competitions.
Dr. Chien finds teaching rewarding by positively encouraging and challenging her students’ potentials towards their limits.

Details
$35 for 30 mins lesson / $50 for 45 mins for one-on-one lesson or Skype lesson. Will charge traveling fee based on the mileage to student's house ( $5 for 0-15 miles, $8 for 15-20 miles, $10 for more than 20 miles).
