About Josie
My service stands out because I am a collegiate volleyball coach looking to enhance the skills & physique of those willing to work. I am the Graduate Assistant for Otterbein University looking to enhance the overall game of young athletes prospering to play the game we all love.
I thoroughly enjoy the career of coaching due to everything the sport has given me in return. As a past player I fell in love with the game and hope to help the athletes I encounter, and train, to do the same.
I like to think I have an abundance of experience in the realm of volleyball. I played 4 years of high school vollleyball, 4 years of club, and 4 years of collegiate (for two different programs). After my time as a player, I moved on to coach JV & Freshmen volleyball at my HS alma mater. I have now moved on to the collegiate level as the Graduate Assistant for Otterbein University Women's Volleyball.

When beginning to work with a new student I want to know the level of play they feel they are at, what they want to take away from their time with me, and most importantly WHY they are playing volleyball. It is always crucial to know your why in what you do and I feel it is very important for the athlete and coach to be on that same level of understanding.
